Extraction and transfer
Extraction, transfer and batching of Rhodimet™ NP 99 may all
be done with a single variable pitch screw (15° incline minimum).
The screw should have two delivery rates to improve batching accuracy.
However, this equipment is usually used in premix plants, which
use large quantities of Rhodimet™ NP 99. Usually the inclusion
rate for Rhodimet™ NP 99 varies between 5 to 20% of the mix,
or 100 to 400 kg of Rhodimet™ NP 99 (batch size 2 tons). In
this case, a screw with a diameter of 250 mm is necessary.
Extraction for later batching
For later batching, Rhodimet™ NP 99 may be extracted and transferred
to an intermediate hopper or a microsystem. In this case, either
a single speed screw (Ø 250 mm) or a pneumatic conveying
system should be used.
