Rhodimet™NP 99 - Technical Characteristics

The parameters mentioned in the previous chapter, Product Specification, are guaranteed by Adisseo. Table 1 summarizes additional parameters that are helpful for using Rhodimet™ NP 99 in the most efficient way. The data given in Table 1 are representative of tested batches, but results may vary from one sample to another. Therefore, these numbers cannot be considered as a guaranteed characteristic or as a specification of Rhodimet™ NP 99.

As an example, Table 1 summarizes results of an analysis of the particle size distribution. Generally more than 50% of the particles are larger than 100µm. Only 20% of the particles are smaller than 50µm. However, results of an analysis of the particle size distribution may vary for the two reasons listed below and are therefore not part of the specifications for Rhodimet™ NP 99.
- Results of particle size distribution analysis will vary based upon the method used. Therefore, it is crucial that comparisons will only be made from results using the same method of analysis.
- Even if the same method of analysis is used, the repeatability of the results is very low. In other words, even with the same method of analysis and the same sample of DL-methionine, results may differ significantly when compared with the repeatability of other methods of analysis.
