When spraying Rhodimet™ AT 88 in the mixer, it is recommended
to:
- Use a stainless steel injection rack (Ø 15mm) with at least
three calibrated flat jet nozzles.
- Determine the nozzle characteristics according to pump delivery
rate (pressure).
- Inject microliquids (methionine, lysine, etc) before animal fat
or vegetable oil.
With the use of calibrated flat jet nozzles, it is possible to
get droplets of a size of 100-200µm. This droplet size is
very close to the particle size of Rhodimet™ NP 99. As a result,
the mixability for both Rhodimet products is very similar. The coefficient
of variation may range in practice between 1 and 10%.
