Rhodimet™ AT 88* is a liquid product containing 88% DL-2-hydroxy-4-methylthiobutanoic acid, a DL-methionine analogue. It provides a concentrated liquid source of methionine designed specifically for animal feed applications.

In response to the latest technological developments in the animal feed industry, Rhodimet™ AT 88 is intended for modern, large-capacity plants where ease of use is always a requirement. It may also be used in small and medium-size plants through the application of integrated equipment developed by Adisseo for this purpose.

Rhodimet™ AT 88 is easy to use and requires less handling than other product forms, helping to keep the plant cleaner. It therefore provides a solution to problems associated with handling powder additives in feed plants, particularly unloading, storage, transfer, weighing/batching and mixing. It ensures optimum homogenous product blending in feed by mixing easily with feed ingredients. It is also compatible with most liquid products used to formulate and manufacture compound feed.

Rhodimet™ AT 88 is manufactured in two plants, one in Institute, West Virginia, United States and the other in Burgos, Spain. Both plants are fully automated and integrated upstream in the three key methionine intermediates: methylmercaptan, HCN and acrolein.

Rhodimet™ AT 88 is manufactured in compliance with all safety and environmental standards, and both production and marketing operations are ISO 9002 certified. The Rhodimet™ AT 88 plant in Burgos, Spain has also received also the recognized certification of ISO 14001, Environmental Management System.
