Rhodimet AT 88 is compatible with most of the other liquid
feed ingredients including other DL-methionine-hydroxy-analogue
acids, vegetable oils, propionic acid, citric acid and animal fat.
It is also of neutral compatibility with liquids that typically
have a neutral pH. This includes liquid Choline, Molasses and Ethoxyquin.
In general, Rhodimet AT 88, like other acid liquids, cannot
be mixed with alkaline liquids.
When replacing an alkaline liquid such as DL-methionine sodium
with Rhodimet AT 88 and using the same tank, please assure
the following preventive measures:
- Rinse the storage tank and lines including the pump, the flow-meter
and the strainer with clear water.
- Inspect the pump for wear and tear.
- Recalibrate the flow-meter according to the density and viscosity
given by Adisseo.
