Premix and feed manufacturers need a way of accurately assessing
the properties and quality of vitamin products for two reasons.
First, the biological efficacy of these products is a determining
factor in the performance of premix and feed. And second,
their technological efficiency is a factor in raising the
productivity of premix production facilities.
To help manufacturers respond effectively to this important
concern, Adisseo has developed an innovative, practical method
for evaluating the quality of feed vitamins. Among other things,
the method is based on the three key criteria of technological
efficiency: ease of use, Mixability and stability.
This Microvit User Guide presents the definitions and
the means of measuring the assessment parameters for these
three criteria. It also recommends methods for interpreting
the results findings in the light of specific production objectives.
The Guide is divided into three parts:
- General information on vitamins, including molecules,
products, production processes and formulations.
- Methods for measuring and interpreting the parameters
for assessing the quality of vitamin products.
- Recommendations for using vitamin products in premix and
feed plants.
In this way, the Microvit User Guide forms
an integral part of the Vitamin Certification System
and its associated Vitamin Premix Clinic training program
for premix and feed manufacturers.
