Meeting the requirements of the animal feed industry
The cost-effective use of vitamins to make premix or feed means at least four things:

• Several successive mixes, with at least one initial premix and one final feed mix.
  
  
• The presence of only a very small amount of vitamin in the finished feed.
  
  
• Suitable physical features, designed in response to the inherent nature of the particular vitamin and to the technological requirements of the feed plant.
  
  
• High availability after the vitamins are ingested by the animal.

• The physical characteristics of powders and of mixing installations require products that are easy to store, handle and mix. Adisseo has developed a special silica media for Microvit™ E 50 ADS that provides exceptional pourability and mixability features.
  
  
  
• Premixes are sometimes used in liquid feeds, which means the vitamin powder has to be soluble or hydrodispersible. Adisseo markets a broad line of special powders like Microvit™ A Supra 1000, Microvit™ A Supra 500, MicrovitN E 50 GS, Microvit™ 03 500, and Microvit™ 812 1000 SL.
  
  
• The product has to be perfectly available for the animal. Microvit™ A Supra is especially designed to make sure the animal gets all the Vitamin A it needs.
